When Satterfield was first established for development, covenants were created that directed there to be a Homeowners' Association that would help oversee the community. The covenants set forth that the HOA would be member-managed, with all owners of a home within the community being granted automatic membership in the organization.
In 2023, the HOA began its transition from a developer-led entity to a member-managed one. A Board of five members is elected to serve and lead the organization, with the Board determining the Board positions. The current Board members are:
